NEW PATTERNS / Autumn and Autumn Leftovers

That little bag of Autumn that I mentioned in my last post has become two new patterns. As I mentioned on Ravelry, Michael's was having a sale on Lion Brand Thick and Quick, I couldn't resist buying their last ball of Spice.

That lonely ball of Spice became a slouchy hat for me that knit up so quickly I had it done in one sitting. Once it was off the needles Elsie wanted to try it on, which got me to thinking that I could probably use the leftover yarn to make her a miniature version. Well, after crunching a few more numbers and casting on, Elsie had her very own hat. The knitting took no more than a half hour and I was able to use up every last inch of that lovely ball of Spice.
