Hi — I'm Jane!  I have been designing knitting patterns since 2008. I love clean lines and minimalist design and try to deliver clear, uncomplicated patterns that are fun and approachable.

I learned to knit at age 5 from my mom and my aunt and relearned as a teenager through books at my local library. I love math and art equally and knitwear design blends these two passions perfectly.  I feel very lucky to be doing something I love and find inspiration in people, places, and things in my hometown of Victoria, BC.  

As a knitter, I enjoy not only the product but the process of knitting and make every effort to create pieces that are just as fun to knit as they are to wear. I am dedicated to providing cleanly written patterns that are easy to read and follow, creating pieces that are timeless and functional.
