Busy Weekends and Holiday Buzz.

I had a whirlwind of a weekend as often happens this time of year, evenings and weekends seem to fill up and before you know it Christmas day is here!

I had the privilege of teaching a few classes at Knotty by Nature on Friday and Saturday night. I was fortunate to have some amazing students and I always love spending time in the shop - it's such a welcoming environment with a truly home grown feel.

While I was there I scooped up this adorable knitting ornament, is it not the perfect thing to hang from a knitters tree?

(I apologize for the glare, it was impossible to get a glare free shot without moving the entire Christmas tree!)

...I will be sending this little treasure off to one of my favorite knitters. I know she is behind on reading the blog so the surprise will not be spoiled.

For those of you who wanted to sign up for classes but missed out because of your hectic December schedule I have great news! I will be offering more classes at Knotty by Nature in the new year. I will be posting the details very soon.

In Test Knitting news - does anyone remember these mitts from way back when? I've finally had the time to rewrite the pattern to include a sport and fingering weight version and will be opening a call for testers after Christmas, if you like the mitts and you have some self striping sock yarn in your stash you should join!

...if you don't have time to test this time around but would like to be added to the testers earburn list on Ravelry simply follow this link: Jane Richmond Ravelry Group.

Happy Tuesday!
