Approximately +4” of positive ease is built into the pattern. The sample garment photographed is size 42” worn with 3” of positive ease.
Although this pattern has been named a men's pattern, it is by no means gender exclusive and can be knit by and for anyone. The pattern’s name includes gender simply to indicate that North American industry standards for men were used during drafting. A version using woman’s standard body measurements can be found here.
