Flip-Top MittensAll levels welcome / 2 hours Class Description:
This fun class will teach you all of the necessary skills to complete your very own pair of flip-top/convertible mittens. Choose from either the Red is Best pattern (ladies) or the Quick Mittens for Men pattern. Techniques include knitting in the round on double pointed needles, creating a thumb gusset, picking up stitches, and the Kitchener stitch.
When: Sunday, January 12th, 12:30-2:30pm

Knit the Oatmeal PulloverAll levels welcome / 2 hours Class Description: Introduction to Top-Down knitting and sweater knitting!Are you ready to make the leap from accessories to sweater knitting? Are you curious about top-down sweater knitting and how this particular construction comes together? This class will not only give you the confidence to knit a full size garment but you'll also learn the basics of top-down sweater knitting. This method of construction is seamless and simple to knit! Top-down construction also allows you to try on your work as you go to guarantee a perfect fit and make adjustments as necessary. Join Jane in the classroom and learn everything you need to know to knit her popular Oatmeal Pullover pattern, perfect as a first sweater project or introduction to top-down sweaters.

Design Your Own ShrugAll levels welcome / 3 hours
Class Description:
Have you ever had to attend a formal event and wished you had the perfect cover up to compliment your outfit? Or maybe you would like to bust through your stash while making fun summer accessories. Designing your own custom shrug is fast and easy and very rewarding. Working from scratch allows you to choose any yarn or colorway to perfectly compliment that special dress or outfit. Shrugs are deceivingly simple to make and a great way to try out new stitch patterns and techniques. Learn the basics of shrug design and walk away from this class with complete instructions to make your own custom shrug.
