Entwine Scarf

Super bulky yarn and big knitting needles make this a fast, fun project for knitters of all skill levels. A fringe made of plump strands of luscious yarn gives the scarf a modern edge. Wind its generous length around once, twice, even three times – or just loop it once and then tie a casual knot. Either way, it’s just the thing for a walk in the woods.

Fireside Pullover / by janerichmond.com

Fireside Pullover

This classic pullover is knit top down, in the round, in quick-to-work bulky yarn. Begin with the shapely shawl collar and then pick up stitches for the yoke; ribbing hugs the upper body for a flattering fit over the shoulders and upper arms. Subtle waist and hip shaping gives the garment a feminine silhouette; the deep ribbed cuffs and hem up the cozy factor. You’ll reach for this sweater again and again on late nights and lazy Sunday mornings.

Woodstack Mittens / by janerichmond.com

Woodstack Mittens

Textured mittens stitched in plump worsted weight yarn create pillows of warmth for cold hands – just the thing for brisk fall nights and cold winter days. With an easy-to-memorize grid stitch pattern and basic shaping, these mittens knit up quickly, making them a weekend project when you need a new set of winter accessories. And since the pattern is available in three different sizes, they’re a great gift knit, too.
