On My Needles / FOs and WIPs

I apologize if I've been very quiet lately, I have been knitting furiously. I feel a bit like a hypocrite for always boasting that I am a one-project-at-a-time knitter because I have so many things on the needles right now. Fall is a knitter's season in my opinion. For me the fall means bundling up, layering, never leaving home without a scarf and digging up all of those winter knits you'd forgotten all about. Fall gives me energy and a rush of inspiration that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I have taken on two projects that have been on my list for sometime... Rewriting and size grading two existing designs of mine...

First on the list is Sedum, named after the lovely plant in the first photograph. My pattern notes for my first Sedum are on Ravelry but they are rough and I would love to replace them with a polished pattern available in a range of sizes.

Second on the list is Amelia which is also available on Ravelry as well as in my Etsy Shop. The pattern in only available in one size, 6-12 months, and because Elsie is now 21 months and winter is nearly upon us I have rewritten the pattern in a Top-Down version for 3 different sizes.

I purchased a rusty colour of Lion Brand Thick and Quick, doesn't this look like a bag full of Autumn?

I also purchased another ball of Lion Brand Thick and Quick in Lemongrass intending to cast on for a scarf but my swatches weren't thrilling me and the colour looks surprisingly good on Elsie. This yarn may turn into a hooded jacket for her.

And that is what's on my needles!
